Victoria’s Secret, the US lingerie brand behind the $2million (£1.4 million) Fireworks Fantasy bra, is boosting its UK retail empire with another London store, the Standard understands.
West End property sources said the designer is in talks to open a shop at a Capital & Counties property, which is moments away from Covent Garden tube station.
Shoppers will be tempted by collections famously modelled by the brand’s muses, known as ‘angels’, such as Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner.
The L Brands-owned firm also unveils an expensive Fantasy bra every year.
The chain made its debut in the UK in 2012 and has 12 stores here, including in Westfield Stratford and New Bond Street.
Sales of its products contributed to the strong UK women’s underwear market in 2015. It was valued at £2.3 billion last year according to Euromonitor.
