The high-end fashion store, which hosts premium designers including Dior, is on track to meet its financial targets despite falling sales and profits, its vice president, Dickon Bowden, told the Standard.
He said: “We look forward to continuing our expansion when we move to our new London store on The Haymarket later this year or early next year, which is three times larger than the existing premises.”
The firm, created by Rei Kawakubo of Japanese fashion label Comme des Garçons, will move into property owned by Lord Sugar’s Amsprop Estates
Profits dipped to £1.4 million in the year to May 31 after investing in expansion in Tokyo and New York, recently filed accounts showed.
Figures were a dip on the previous financial results, but the prior year was an extended period owing to the formation of a new company created as part of expanding in Tokyo and New York.
