Enjoy some of the latest, cutting-edge work from the bright new stars of the creative arts, as the Southbank Centre once again hosts the Alchemy festival.

Now in its sixth year, this exciting celebration of art and culture is bigger and better than ever before. Covering everything from dance, theatre, music and design, to fashion comedy and literature, the festival draws on talented performers, writers and artists from the UK and South Asia.

There is a huge variety of shows, performances, gigs and workshops to choose from. Among the highlights is music from Shreya Ghoshal, the Bollywood star who recently sold out the Royal Albert Hall.

You can also get involved in the innovative show 3 x 4, which sees audiences in both Delhi and London experience, perform and play in a shared digital space.

Film lovers will delight in Karachi Stories, which sees film-makers reveal compelling stories about the Pakistani city they love and work in.

Among the art on show is the interactive installation Pother Golpo: Street Stories of Bangladesh, which showcases work by UK and Bangladeshi-based graphic novelists.
