The designer of the Sexy Thing shoe, Aquazzura, and Florence-based luxury goods group Faliero Sarti will make their UK store debuts in Mayfair in time for September 6 London Fashion Week.
They join Italy’s Mazzoleni Art gallery, which opened last year, and Alexander Wang, which has chosen the street for its first European flagship shop.
The street is increasingly becoming a sought-after destination for fashion brands priced out of Bond Street.
Aquazzura is favoured by a raft of celebrities including actresses Jennifer Lawrence and Nicole Kidman. Its range will include bridal and made-to-measure shoes.
Its founder Edgardo Osorio said: “We have such a loyal following in London that we decided to open a shop and I find Albemarle Street extremely charming and special.”
Meanwhile scarf maker Faliero Sarti’s founder Monica Sarti said: “London is at the heart of everything and it is really important for us to be here.”
Its goods cost between €120 (£86) and €1000.
Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp are some of the famous devotees of Faliero Sarti, which was founded in 1991 by Sarti as an offshoot of her family’s textile business.
The companies will be next to each other in 1650 square-feet shops at numbers 37 and 38.
